Cheering thru Football Season 2010

Kaleigh -Cheering for the Yellow Jackets! What amazing and crazy first year as a cheerleader. The first game of the season it rained and when I say rain, I mean RAIN. That doesn't compare to the mosquito festival the next week, they invented new cheer moves while swatting! Then came the hurricane, a real hurricane sat over central Texas! Rain blowing sideways, rain beating you up!

Baseball Season 2010 - Maddawg

An amazing year in baseball! Maddux played for the Dallas Tigers (Majors 2015 team). If you know where Stephenville is and you know where Dallas is, you will ask your self - WHY? All I can say, it was well worth the travels and the time. What started out as a rough start, proved to be a pretty darn good team, playing at the highest level of baseball you can play in the state of Texas!
Lots of pitching..............................................Lots of pitching.........................= Maddawg was pretty nasty on the mound!!!!



I can't count the number of days when Maddux got out of school, we made the 2 1/2 hour drive to practice for 2 hours, to then drive home another 2 1/2 hours. That was after being at school at 6am, everyday!!! How many Sat. and Sun. mornings did we get in the car at 3am to go play games? Jacoby and Kaleigh never complained about getting up!





How about driving 3 hours just to go show proof of BC, so you could play the next day?

Being 3 hours away from home, when you had an 8am game and 6pm, but we managed to keep ourselves entertained!

Post game meals are the best! You kept Freddy's in business!

Triple Crown Season Opener

Dallas Tiger's season opener March 5-7, 2010. Won 2, Loss 1, rest of tournament cancelled due to rain. Maddux played great at 3rd and pitched 4 innings, giving up 1 hit.

Baby Girl turns 12!

Happy Birthday - Kaleigh ElizabethWhat a beautiful 12 years it's been. So what do you do when your birthday is on a Friday? Sleepover!!! This was the ZERO planning b-day. With 2 girls, that makes it easy. All they really want to do - TALK!

Jacoby Turn's One.....

Let me start catching up. The most important thing I've not blogged....the baby turned one!!!

Jacoby Jax Conger - our Christmas baby 12.25.08 Who knew what the first year would bring? It was full of ups and downs, but keeping FAITH that God is in control, it turned out to be a wonderful year.

Jacoby started his Birth "day" out at 5am ready for Santa! Maddux and Kaleigh choose to sleep in this Christmas (the first Christmas ever -makes me so sad they are too old to enjoy Santa), but I have a feeling next Christmas Jacoby will be waking them up, I can't wait!!! Finally Maddux and Kaleigh woke up and we had our family Christmas. It wasn't long till Jacoby went down for a nap, the longest nap he's ever taken. At dinner time Chief, Nana, Grannie, Bryan, Maddux, Kaleigh, Jacoby and I started our BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! Soup and sandwiches hit the spot, before we helped ourselves to the Cookie Monster Cupcake Cake.

So it came time to sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY...............

Jacoby freaked out at everyone singing at the same time...................He turned and crawled up his da da as fast as he could..........So with Jacoby's oral sensory disorder, that means he still doesn't eat food and does not like anything in his mouth. We thought this might not go so well.Well, we were wrong, maybe it's because I don't cover his baby food with frosting!!!!!
