On Your Mark, Get Set, Go
JJ and Bryan in the ER at Cooks we took 3 different trips to Cooks last week. Bryan seems to think JJ has a thing for nurses, since he starts flirting with the nurses everytime they come in. He acts so happy, when he gets to see his nurses! JJ is competing to see how many specialist he can have by age one, he's doing good so far!
Maddux is all kinds of excited these days! 3 mores days of school! Utah baseball team won the MWC Tournament, so now they are playing in a regional. And he leaves in 10 days for New York to play baseball with his old Utah buddies!
Kaleigh had music this semester. For the final production they sang all the Wizard of Oz songs and had to find things they already had to make a costume. This is Kaleigh's take on Glinda the Witch of the North. Not bad, with the kickin pink shoes!
JJ can't rollover or set up yet, but he can stand up! He loves standing!
JJ also loves to chew on his shirts. I guess we should stick to the body suits.
Kaleigh at the track meet. 4 x 100 relay (4th leg) 2nd place, 400 meter race 5th place, and 4 x 400 relay (4th leg) 2nd place.
JJ wearing his eye patch, which he does not like! He has to wear a patch over alternating eyes, for the next 3 months, to control his "googly eyes" as daddy likes to call them.
Maddux at his track meet. 4 x 100 relay (1st leg) 1st place, 4 x 200 relay (1st leg) 2nd place, 200 meter dash - 1st place, and 4 x 400 relay (1st leg) 2nd place.
I'm slowing down on posting because I'm a little busy these days. I'm in school working on my teaching certificate. I'm really excited, I've wanted to get this since I graduated from college, and now I finally have the chance to do so! Now I need a job!

Texans Close Out the Year
Maddawg, BooBear, JJ and Mommy would like to praise Daddy for a wonderful job this year! His team finished 6th in the regular season and 3rd in the conference tourney.
Texans (27-30-1) Bryan entered the season with a goal of stealing at least 100 bases and aggression paid off as Tarleton ends the 2009 campaign with 101 steals. That is 65 more stolen bases than last season for the Texans. While other teams enter Regional play next week, Tarleton will still lead the nation in double plays with 70 dp's turned on the season. Finally, the Texans pitching staff went from a 8.20 earned run average last season to finishing this season with a 6.25 ERA - nearly a whole two-run difference.
We know what a wonderful job recruiting he has done for next year and can't wait to see what next year brings!
