Texans Make the Playoffs

For the first time in 6 years, the TSU Baseball team makes it to the playoffs!!! Could it be their amazing new coaching staff?









The Texans (25-28-1, 22-21-1 LSC) record.


LSC champion Cameron is the top seed, while Angelo State is the No. 2 seed. Abilene Christian is seeded third, followed by Southeastern Oklahoma at No. 4, Eastern New Mexico at No. 5 and Tarleton State at No. 6.

Coffee with Chief

Jacoby has a great time in the mornings! The unfortunate part, only mommy gets to see it. So Saturday morning we took a trip to Chief and Nana's house to show off his smiles and babbles.

It takes a lot of coffee to get Chief going in the mornings, but Jacoby helped with those smiles.

HAPPY EASTER!!!

It's a busy time of the year, so I'm a little slow at updating the blog! At the very least I would like to get a few pictures up.

Kaleigh made our annual Easter Bunny cake. We started making bunny cakes when we lived in Kansas. Since no one likes coconut all our bunny's are hairless. This year Kaleigh choose a pink/strawberry bunny.
















Of course every year we die eggs. With this being Jacoby's first Easter he had to get in on the action too! Due to Maddux's highly demanding social schedule, he missed this years egg dying session. He was so upset with me, when he found out he missed out. So he learned a lesson, spend more time with my family!



























Mimi and Papa came down Easter weekend, to catch a few baseball games. Watch Bryan and the Texans play on Friday and watched Maddux and the Tigers play on Saturday. Maddux hit 2 homeruns, he always hit's homeruns when Papa is there to watch!!















On Easter Sunday, Kaleigh tricked Nana (via text messaging) into hosting an "Easter Party". Which turned out to be one of the best Easters we have ever had. The kids enjoyed playing with Logan and Luke. We had the best ham and the kids favorite homemade mac n' cheese!

SPRING BREAK 2009

SPRING BREAK - This was Maddux and Kaleigh's first spring break and first spring break trip! (In Utah we did not get a spring break.) They had a blast and have not stopped talking about it! They spent the week with Mimi, Papa, Carlie, Aunt Krissy, Kole and Karson.

Story 1: While at the beach they found a huge hole and kept on digging.

Story 2: While driving, Carlie kept on saying the highways are the spaghetti noddles, the cars are the meatballs and the people inside the cars are the mushrooms! M & K repeat this story over and over!

Story 3: Kole and Karson s tarted calling Maddux and Kaleigh Alex and Gloria, from Madagascar. So now M & K have new names!
