JUMPEROO

As a mom you try to find something to entertain your kids, so you can get something done! Jacoby does not like anything! Until now! I now have 30 minutes a day to wash the dishes, fold the clothes and take a shower. It's the best 30 minutes of the day!
He's still too small for the Jumperoo. I have to stuff a blanket at the bottom in order to get him high enough not to bounce his face into the seat. I also stuff something behind him in order to hold him upright. His poor little feet can't even touch the ground. Turn Sports Center on TV and he's good! Not that he can see the TV yet, but he likes to pretend he's watching it. He tunes me out, just like Bryan and Maddux do when they watch it.
He gets tired after about 30 minutes. But I'm loving the Jumperoo! Thanks, Nana!

March 20-21 8 Baseball Games

7 Wins out of 8 Games is not to bad for the weekend! Tarleton played ECU and swept them 4 games! TSU hasn't done that in for ever! They were great wins for the team and for Bryan!

The Cross Timbers Tigers opened this weekend, playing the Luck of the Irish baseball tourney, in Irving. They lost in the Championship game, but looked pretty good for opening weekend. Maddux played 3rd - 2 games, Short- 1 game and pitched - 1 game.

All Smiles

I been trying for a month now, to capture J.J.'s cute smiles. Sometimes you wonder if they will ever smile, because all they do is cry, eat, poop and sleep!

He's laughing here! We were watching the Texas A&M vs. BYU basketball game. I asked him if he thought BYU would win, he started laughing!I love baby smiles! They make you smile back no matter what may be going on in your life! Thanks Jacoby, for making us all smile!

Bryan - Texan Baseball

Baseball season for Bryan is off to a rough start. We keep saying to our self, "if the program wasn't in bad shape, they wouldn't have let the old coach go, and we wouldn't be here with this opportunity." As of today our record is 7-11-1.

It seems like everyday Bryan or Nate are out of town recruiting! They have done an awesome job recruiting, getting the first FALL commitments in the programs history.

Another positive note, TSU captured the programs first ever win over Angelo State. A huge series comes this weekend, when they play Eastern New Mexico, coached by one of Bryan and Coach Allen's coaching friends, Coach Clabaugh.

Yesterday, Bryan had the opportunity to help pull off a surprise. Coach Jack Allen, Bryan's oldest and dearest coach, currently serving as the teams Volunteer Bench Coach, had his # retired at Ranger Jr. College. Ranger played Cisco, Ranger's AD is one of Jack's former players, Cisco is coached by one of Jack's former players and Bryan one of Jack's former players pulled the event off. Coach Allen was very surprised!

Maddux continues to be the bat boy. We've been very blessed, that Maddux still hangs out with dad and wants to learn the game. It still makes me smile every time I get to see him run out there and get the bat!

Kaleigh - Basketball 2009

Kaleigh, Makayla, Gillian, Mike D.
Katie, Addy, Allison

Team ShockKaleigh did great this basketball season! She hasn't played basketball since 2nd grade, so this was new to her. It was amazing to see her learn how to be aggressive on the court. Unlike most girls her age, she knew whether or not to get the ball as it went out of bounds. You can't teach that!

Kaleigh has a beautiful shot! You can tell she got this from her dad and her brother. She can be an amazing athlete, if she wants too. Her team only won 1 game all year, but 5 of the 6 girls had never played before. With a great coach and lots of playing time all the girls picked up the game fast.

You never know, she just might be a future Honeybee!
